My research areas are varied with a general focus on the preparation of future educators. More students with special needs are placed in the general education setting and general educators receive little preparation to work with students with special needs. Special Educators should be prepared to teach specialized strategies and content in a variety of settings including the general education classroom. This current trend of placing students with special needs in the general education classroom, and more special educators asked to provide services to students in inclusive classrooms, changes the role of many “actors” involved in educating students with special needs. As a person who hopes to prepare future educatotrs, I anticipate my research analyzing teacher preparation programs and relationships among educators, and accessing technology to facilitate these two topics, resulting in a better education for all students.

I am looking for grants and fellowships to complete this current goal.  I have two small  boys and  I hope to show them  that women can  be strong, smart, and firm, while still being a loving  mom.  Any direction of  help in the form of grants and fellowships will be appreciated. Please if it  is not a serious lead or if I must  invest money to compete for the grant than I  am not intersted. This includes  fee baring services.
